My opinion:

Yong Sheng means “bravery and victorious” in Chinese. This stall sells traditional Singapore fish soup and seafood. I have tried their fried fish soup with rice for $4.70.

There were 9 pieces of fried fish meat, soup and moderate amount of rice. Fish meat was juicy, tender but a bit too salty. Soup was plain tasting and lacked fish or veggie goodness. As I was about to finish the food, I also found that small portions of the rice had sticky issues.

To sum up, the food here was delicious, plentiful but had a few flaws that prevented the stall from greatness. For fish soup fans who are not so nit picky, Sin Hin’s food should be able to satisfy your hunger and seafood craving for a cheap price.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, reduce the amount of salt in the food’s preparation process and do not over-fry the fish pieces. Second, review the soup’s preparation process and add more veggie ingredients (such as bitter gourd and seaweed). Third, use less water in the rice’s cooking process.
