My opinion:

If you live in Bedok, you will hear of Jet Winds Western Food. This is the only stall in Kaki Bukit Market and Food Centre (Block 511) to sell western cuisine. For this 2014 food review, I have tasted their $5.50 chicken chop for dinner.

Their food portions were very small, compared to what their Bedok competitors sold. Chicken chop was well cooked but it was too “healthy”. The sauces for both meat and salad were too bland, mild tasting and watery.

For my blog readers who want good food for reasonable prices, please check out Hong Mei Western Food which is at Block 515 (just opposite Block 511). Customers can get better tasting meat chops and endure a shorter waiting time.

Easily the best affordable western in singapore. 9/10 for me . The sauce & salad need to be watery. Otherwise it will lack in taste and texture. It is unique in its own way. This is Traditional hainanese style western food. The queue is long but worth the wait.
