My opinion:

Fortune sells traditional Singapore cuttlefish kang kong, laksa, muah chee and popiah. The price of their cuttlefish kang kong is only $3.00 (cheapest in Singapore). I decided to tried that dish for night snack.

When I reached home to check the food items, I was not surprised to see the small amount of food ingredients. There was a Chinese saying “you get what you pay for” (一分钱一分货). I was given 7 pieces of cuttlefish, small amount of kang kong, cucumber slices and pineapple slices. The 7 pieces of cuttlefish were juicy, tender and extremely small. Kang kong was crunchy, well cooked but too few in portions to satisfy my craving.

The food did have some major plus points that pushed up the rating to 70/100. Cucumber were cut to fine slices (plus point for old people). Pineapple slices were sweet and tasty. The sauce was addictive, hot and thick, just nice for mixing with the other food ingredients.

In conclusion, I will recommend their cuttlefish kang kong to people who wants a healthy and light after meal snack. For hardcore cuttlefish kang kong lovers, I will advise you to give this stall a miss or try out their signature popiahs.

Please note:

Fortune has branch stalls all over Singapore including Bedok South, Bugis, Chinatown, Geylang Bahru, Hougang, Marine Parade Central and Old Airport Road.
