Feng You Ji sells traditional Singapore mixed vegetable rice. I have tried their rice meal for $3.80. For this food review, I chose chicken feet, curry pork and luncheon meat with potatoes as my food items.

The owners are very generous in giving out the food items. My takeaway packet was so filled with goodies that it was about to burst open. The 2 chicken feet was huge sized, soft but not properly marinated. Chicken feet sauce was watery and gave the rice a pungent taste (minus point). Curry pork was juicy, tender and filled with curry goodness. Luncheon meat with potatoes were delicious, simple and sweet. Curry was flavorful and thick. Rice was bit sticky and became awkward tasting after mixed with both chicken sauce and curry gravy.

In conclusion, the food here was delicious, shiok and very close to greatness status. The owners are applauded for their good work and are strongly advised to review the chicken feet marinating process. They should also save up on water in cooking the rice. If you are a mixed vegetable rice fan who adores chicken feet, Feng You Ji is highly recommended by my website.
