My opinion:

This hawker stall sells traditional Singapore beverages and desserts. For this 2016 food review, I decided to try out their red tea longan ice for $2.00. There were 5 longans, 8 red jellies and moderate amount of shaved ice in my bowl.

Longans were juicy, sweet and small sized. Red jellies were addictive, chewy and had a thick rose taste. Ice was rough and not properly shaved. After finishing this dessert, my tongue did not detect any tea taste.

In a nutshell, the cold refreshment items here were cheap and average tasting. They could quench my thirst but not the craving for good ice desserts.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, add more longans and red jellies. Second, change the misleading name to “red rose longan”. Third, shave the ice for a longer duration.
