My opinion:

This Onan Road hawker stall sells traditional Singapore Muslim food including mee siam and nasi lemak. For this 2016 food review, I have tasted their mee rebus for $3.00.

There were a full egg, bean sprouts, green chili slices and moderate amount of noodles in my food portion. Potato, tau kwa and tau pok were considered “missing in action” (severe minus points). Gravy was bland, thin and did not mix well with the noodles. Green chili slices were addictive, crunchy, healthy juicy and added a few last minute bonus points for the food’s flavor.

In a nutshell, the mee rebus here was cheap but average tasting and severely lacking in food ingredients. Unless you are a hardcore fan of Muslim cuisine, my advice is to give this stall a miss and visit tastier food alternatives in nearby coffee shops.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, introduce potato slices and tau kwa as food ingredients. Second, make the gravy tastier and thicker.
