Liquid Hand Soap

DIY Removing ticks with cotton balls soaked with liquid hand soap

1. Get yourself a few cotton balls and a bottle of liquid hand soap.

2. Dip one cotton ball in the liquid hand soup.

3. Apply the cotton ball on a tick for 20 seconds or more.

4. The tick will stop biting and remained stuck on the cotton ball until it is pulled away.

5. If the tick has been embedded for a while, keep it in a jar so you can test it for Lyme disease.

6. Check thoroughly and make sure there are no more ticks biting on to your body.

7. Reapply this method if you see discover another tick.

Effectiveness:

90/100

My opinion:

This method is cheap, effective and painless. Always remember to keep a pair of tweezers in your first aid kit in case a few stubborn ticks will not back off their bloody meals.
