Common Fengshui Mistakes (27) Please do not put Zhong Kui art in your home

Zhong Kui Art

Zhong Kui is a vanquisher of ghosts and evil beings in Chinese folk legends. Chinese has been putting paintings of Zhong Kui in front of their homes since the Tang dynasty. If your home is clean and peaceful, please do not put Zhong Kui art as decorations. Many Zhong Kui paintings and statues actually attract spirits who are trying to seek Zhong Kui to address their grievances. Having a Zhong Kui god statue in your home is not advisable as it may intimidate the spirits of your ancestors. If you are a policeman or a soldier, it is better to have a god statue of Guan Gong (General Guan Yu) in your home instead.
